What is Vocational Education Association of North America?
The Vocational Education Association of North America ( VEANA ) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering collaboration, innovation, and excellence in vocational education throughout North America. Our mission is to empower individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary for successful careers in today’s dynamic workforce while addressing the ever-evolving needs of industries, employers, and local communities.
With a focus on both the United States and Canada, VEANA works with educational institutions, industry partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders to develop and promote best practices in vocational education, advocate for supportive policies and funding, and create opportunities for networking and professional development. Our approach emphasizes strong collaboration with local communities to identify and respond to their unique needs and priorities.

Our Mission:
Empower vocational education institutions to improve operational efficiency, increase enrollment, and revenue;
Develop talents suitable for various levels of positions for industries, reduce employers’ recruitment costs, and meet the talent demands of business development;
Integrate global upstream and downstream industrial resources, particularly in Asian countries and North American vocational education, to establish an international cooperation platform for vocational education and promote the healthy and compliant development of the industry;
Ensure the interests of students by promoting compliant and healthy development of the industry, and building an internationalized platform for vocational education collaboration and assistance.
